Writing prescription medications is something you will be doing day after day, patient after patient. There are special considerations depending on the DEA schedule of controlled medication you are writing. This Assignment will start preparing you for this task and understanding.
Note: Written prescriptions for pharmacies may differ from chart orders for hospitalizations. For this Assignment, you are writing outpatient prescriptions for pharmacies.

Her partner is concerned and reports she is typically active and “bubbly” and enjoys the outdoors. She is diagnosed with major depressive disorder, with postpartum onset. She denies suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, or infanticidal ideation. No psychotic symptoms are present.
