The purpose of this assignment is to compare two models of health care. Choose a model, such as the holistic health or social model, to compare to the medical model. Refer to the study materials for information on available infographic tools.

Create an infographic to compare the two models, including the following criteria:

1. A description of the medical model, including access of care and satisfaction with care.
2. A description of the second model, including access of care, satisfaction with care, and the cost of care.
3. A list of the similarities between the two models.
4. A list of the differences between the two models.

In addition to your infographic, choose a patient population that would benefit from your selected model. Include a 300-500 word rationale for how this model would best serve that patient population. How would this be more beneficial than other models of care?

Submit your infographic and rationale as one deliverable into the assignment dropbox.

Support your writing with three to five scholarly peer-reviewed resources.

In hospice, one of the goals is to have skilled nurse visits at least 3 days prior to death and at least 3-6 days prior to death. If we track ESAS it is supposed to help indicate who we can expect to pass away based on changes reported and then be able to increase nursing visits-however to be effective the data has to be accurate. Respond to the following scenario using information from this week:

You are a member of the Board of Trustees at your local community hospital The Chief Operating Officer asks you to sit on the new organ transplant committee. The hospital has just invested millions of dollars in the new service. It should be online in three months. Livers will be the first organ transplanted. The committee must at this point write up policies and procedures relevant to the service. The committee assigns you the task of writing a draft of the policy related specifically to the criteria that the hospital would use to determine the ranking of candidates for new livers. That is, in the event that there are, for example, two livers available, but six people on the transplant waiting list, how does the hospital decide who gets the livers?

What criteria will you list in your draft, and why? Justify your choices in ethical terms. Cite what you have learned from the case of Sarah Murnaghan, the Public Health Code of Ethics, and information from your textbook in your response.
